"WALKING EAST" started off an abstract painting made in 2020. It's inspired by the small steps we all take every day down our own paths.
The brush strokes and properties of the paint gave the piece it's character. Capturing that in the printing process was an intricate labor of love and ode to the art of screen printing.
The Malbec color palette is inspired by Efdot's time living in Argentina, with overlapping hues of burgundy and pops of pink and yellow on soft cream paper.
